Because Theraderm Fruit Acid is un-buffered with a pH of 2.4 it gives unmatched activity in removing these dead or damaged cells. As Lactic Acid is found in every cell in the human body, it exfoliates gently, naturally, and with no irritation as is seen with Glycolic acid or Retin-A treatments. Its ethanol base (not rubbing alcohol) further cleanses inactive surface oils and enhances the penetration of not only the lactic acid, but each of the other reparative and restoration components of the system.
